Best place to work in Taiwan
I personally have awesome coworkers, which isn't true for all the team. The salary is extremely high relative to local wages, and other benefits are also much appreciated (food, gym, events...).
Google Taiwan probably has the median salary of all locations, so there are plenty of places where you could make more.
English levels are pretty low, especially in the Pixel team. They are investing a lot into internationalizing, since there are only so many Taiwanese people they can steal from other companies.
Job types are diversifying too, but most of them, in some way, are related to consumer devices. (This one can be a positive too if you're into it.)
