Great Work, Slow Growth
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Google. Compensation is unquestionably good, the work is challenging and rewarding, and the products one works on will be used by millions of people.
I didn't feel my career was growing at the rate I wanted it to. It's hard to make waves in a 100,000-person company, but the environment was excellent.
