Great Environment. Growth. Stability. Great Perks.
No cons at working at Google.
None
Google's software engineering interview process for me involved a phone screen, technical interviews (for me, it was 5 rounds), coding assessments, and a final interview. It emphasized problem-solving, algorithmic skills, and coding ability.
Good, awesome, perfect. Interviews at product-based companies are always tough compared to service-based companies. So, it took 4-6 rounds of interviews, which were really good. Conversations were done on the complexity of the code.
I didn't feel fully respected by either of my two interviewers. One was crunching on ice while I was coding for them. Like, at a bare minimum, pay attention as I solve your problem?
