Google on the inside is pretty much exactly what it looks like from the outside. There are no surprises. It's a fun internship with lots of opportunity to continue with them once your internship is up.
I enjoyed my summer there. Although I would recommend, if you have a choice, working at one of the larger offices. I worked at a smaller office and didn't feel like I got the whole Google experience.
As an intern, I didn't really deal with management.
