Everything was of top quality.
Nothing was out of the ordinary.
Interviewed at Google for a software engineering role. Faced algorithmic and system design questions. Focused on problem-solving and coding. The process was rigorous, but the feedback was constructive and professional.
Applied through a recruiter. First round was a phone screen. I did average and somehow passed to the next step. Onsite consisted of 4 technical interviews and 1 Googliness interview. I did well in each of them and received an offer a few weeks late
Random engineers from across the company interview you, not likely people you'll actually work with. I had 5 on-site interviews, all technical. Two interviewers became hostile when I missed something in the problem I was given.
