A full day onsite with six-hour-long interviews. Each person did a series of whiteboarding problems to see how you think and work through problems. There was also a lunch in the middle of the day.

I sent a resume and got a phone screen scheduled, which was a coding interview. The recruiter handled scheduling the interview. I had to write about my experience on the Google website when applying.

Very straightforward two phone interviews. I was asked standard data structures and string manipulation questions that became harder once I answered the first part. Both of my interviewers were very friendly.
