- Performance-driven incentives can lead some people to only care about themselves and not mentor other engineers.
- Because a lot of the tech is internal, your professional experience may fall behind in terms of what other companies are looking for outside of big tech.
Incentivize experienced engineers to care about less experienced engineers.

Software Engineer
Applied online. A phone call followed, lasting about 45 minutes. Firstly, I introduced myself, then we immediately went into problem-solving. These were pure algorithm questions on a Google Doc. I spent the last ten minutes asking questions.
