Benefits are still good, although slowly decreasing by the year. Pay is still decent. There are still good teams, but they're very difficult to join since no one is willing to leave a good team.
No budget for promotions anymore, including lower level ones. Google is becoming a penny pincher with bad management, and most things I enjoyed about it are now gone.
Try listening to your engineers when they provide constructive criticism, instead of pretending everything's fine and baiting them with non-existent promotion potential.
