Food, perks, people, campus, technology.
Political, too much documentation and PC.
My first round of interviews consisted of two back-to-back phone interviews, both lasting 45 minutes each. You essentially type code in a Google Doc shared with the interviewer. Both interviews went straight into technical questions from the start.
The interview process was great. Despite doing badly on one of the two first-round interviews, they let me take a third one to sort out the mixed reviews. They also kept me in the loop about the process and the feedback I was receiving.
Applied through Craigslist SF Bay Area. Got an email from HR immediately the next day. Scheduled an interview the week after receiving the email. The interviewer was knowledgeable. They asked a lot of CS questions, but they were pretty standard.
