Cons

In spite of Google's quirky reputation, it's a massive company with all the red tape, processes, layers, etc., typical of big companies. As a result, I've found the process of writing software here to be exceedingly tedious, as my time is swallowed up by learning internal tools and standards.

There is no semblance of a "start-up" or "hacker" environment. If you need an environment that is engaging, fast-paced, multi-faceted, and gives you the ability to solve higher-level problems and use creative skills, you will likely find the work environment here to be suffocating.

Advice to Management

You need to get a better pulse on your neurodiverse employees, and find better ways to diversify your product lifecycles rather than standardize your people.
