On the road to being just another big tech, instead of being Google
Great salary, superb benefits, an amazing environment with everything to support your well-being.
In Taiwan, everything we do at Google works for consumer devices, hardware in the data centers, or chips. There are really few pure software engineering options. This can be both a pro and a con, business-wise, I would say. Often, a new hire would be disappointed in finding this truth after a few months working here.
