I did an internship during the summer at Google. At the end, I asked for conversion and had two onsite interviews. After the interviews, my interview feedback as well as my internship feedback went to the hiring committee, and then I got approved.

It was thorough but fair. It had a lot of questions on coding, but also equal amounts about team management. The interviewer was friendly and did not try to overwhelm.
