Nice perks like a good gym, massages, nice food, etc.
Low trust between management and employees.
High levels of bureaucracy and politics.
Very slow to get things done.
Google cannot go back to the company it used to be (which was a much, much better workplace), but trust between employees and leadership can be rebuilt. People can be made to feel appreciated and belonging again if you make it a priority. Bringing back internal mobility for the strong performers would go a long way.
