I interviewed with Google in May of 2022 and did not receive an offer. In early May, a friend gave me a referral, and I applied for three different positions. A recruiter contacted me, and we chatted about my recent activities and current situation.

Got to the final round. Very challenging (but interesting!) questions. Time on LeetCode and deep specialization in one language (i.e., Python) is undeniably important. Less focus on SQL than Facebook or Apple.

The recruiter who contacted me was very helpful. She described to me how the interview would be, what to expect, what not to expect, and what the interviewers were looking for, pretty well without a single hint of any question. She did her job well.
