It's really hard to understand what you're signing up for. Your project might be entirely different by the time you come to the internship.
On my first internship, I was lucky to be part of a project that I was interested in. The second one was not so lucky; I was mainly fixing bugs and refactoring because there was not much else to do on that project.
Ask future mentors for more detailed descriptions of intern projects.
Let interns know that their future projects were changed.

The interview was stressful, but it was a worthwhile experience. I failed the LeetCode portion. It is difficult now, but I might improve in the future, probably within 2028. I hope this is helpful for everyone.
