Interesting problems, and they've invented all their own solutions to them. Lots of cool libraries, linters, helpers, and things like that.
Solving every problem themselves means there are lots of solutions that are behind industry. Their developer tooling has some cool aspects, but it's way behind standard capabilities in the broader industries. It also takes a long time for getting up to speed, as everything is different. It seems like lots of teams don't really follow any development methodology; they just make up the process as they go along.
Start to adopt standard tools and processes. Invest much more heavily on developer productivity. Take a look at market tools.
