A single phone screen was followed by a recruiter call, informing me that I did not pass. The phone screen was LC-style, likely a LeetCode Medium. The recruiter was very nice.

LeetCode-type questions are not that difficult, but they require you to have correct answers and check corner cases. Find interesting optimizations for the problem. You should care about time, space, and complexity.

I didn't get an offer, but the process was smooth from Google's side. I will try again later to get a position there, maybe in some other location, like in Europe.
