Google is one of the best places to work for. I worked as a SWE Intern at Google this summer. And even in this pandemic situation, Google was able to manage its interns really well.
The best reason to work at Google is its people. You get to interact with one of the best minds in the world. Everybody there is really supportive and always willing to help you out if you feel stuck somewhere.
For interns, they also organize various sessions which are really very enriching.
According to me, I had my best experiences as an intern at Google. So no cons from my side.
A very nice interview. Chill interviewer. Nice platform. Coded in a Google Docs-like environment, but had an IDE. They told me that I didn't have to wear formal. Online.
It was good but not selected. It was fine. I answered all questions, but they did not take me. Maybe I was lacking in some way, I don't know. Maybe I am mad. Maybe I should not do it. I might not be good enough.
The Google SWE intern interview process usually involves: * Online application * Resume screening * Online assessment (DSA) * Technical interviews (coding + problem-solving) * Sometimes behavioral questions * Recruiter discussion before
