Flexible with work location. Some interns get the option to work remotely. I am required to work in person, though.

Work-life balance is not as good as I thought. However, I think this is the same for other tech companies, especially due to layoffs. I have to work weekends and extra hours each day to keep up with my tasks, mainly because some major tasks in my project changed towards the final weeks of my internship.

Ensure you ask your manager if they have gotten approval for the tools you'll use for your project. The tools are usually stated in the Intern Project proposal, written by your manager.

I know interns whose projects changed mid-way into their internship because their manager found out they couldn't use certain tools or do certain stuff.
