iOS Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn regarding the role. I sent her my resume, and we scheduled a call to discuss the position and my experience.

The role is remote-first, with an office in the city I currently live in. However, I was told I would be required to move to SF. I would be working remotely from SF but would need to come into the office 1-2 weeks per quarter. I found it very strange that I would need to move to work remotely but continued with the process.

I was then given a technical interview, which was on HackerRank. This was fine, but I got tripped up with the math. I was rejected afterward.
