Three one-hour interviews were conducted remotely via Skype:
I had applied for a role different from the "Site Tools Engineer" position. The recruiter was convinced I was a much better fit for that role. I agreed to proceed with a first interview to discuss it with the Hiring Manager. The interview went very well, but I was very clear that I am not a DevOps Engineer and stated that if they were looking for one, I would not be a match. The Hiring Manager convinced me that they were looking for a Software Engineer rather than a DevOps Engineer. I continued with the other two interviews, only to be rejected with the statement, "You are not a DevOps Engineer." This was very unprofessional and a total waste of time. Make sure to clarify their intentions regarding the position and the skills they are looking for.
A mix of technical and problem-solving questions.
