The interview process includes one telephonic screen with the hiring manager. If that goes well, there is a loop interview with 4-5 people.
The onsite interview focuses on design with a principal engineer, then product managers, engineering managers, and directors.
Once the interview was completed, the recruiter reached out the next day. They said the team was regrouping after a week, which was the only time they had to get together. This seemed strange.
I waited for a week. The recruiter came back and said the team had great feedback and was very interested, but could only make a decision in another week. They wanted to know if I had any timelines or other offers.
After I mentioned I had an offer and that a decision soon would be better, they said they could check with the hiring manager, but it would mostly likely take another week. After that, they never came back.
This is a waste of time. The company reached out to me on LinkedIn and never thought to respond. They have not been able to provide an offer within the timeline or any other feedback.
I feel happy that I did not wait on this worst company.
