Pros

Good pay and great benefits.

Lots of opportunities to work on interesting and important projects, alongside people who are smart and fun.

Cons

Despite some shining stars, management is plain awful across the board. Inconsistent promotion practices, rampant ineptitude, lack of meaningful strategy, and absence of passion from so many who could make such a difference. Distributed offices are wildly out of touch with one another. Rivers of bureaucracy and politics run amok.

Advice to Management

Fire the majority of middle managers and promote a flatter org structure. Meritocracy wins. Get rid of underperforming staff at all levels.
