Pros

It used to be working from home in a pandemic that is still ongoing.

The people I work with.

Meal perks are really nice. I've been introduced to many new restaurants.

Cons
  • Forcing its employees to be vaxxed.
  • Forcing its workforce to commute into its offices. Why? We work harder and more effectively working from home.
Advice to Management

Senior leadership thinks we'll be more productive going into the office. The last time I checked, even vaxxed people can catch COVID and spread it. Why are you putting employees at risk with the chance of catching a contagious disease?

What's the purpose of the teams being in the office if we have to stay 6 feet apart? A better solution is making going to the office mandatory.

Don't force everyone to have to go to the office and also prove they're vaccinated. I hate to break the news to you, leadership, there are people that are not vaxxed, or don't believe in sharing medical information with their employer.

Again, going to the office should be a voluntary option. As an engineer, I can do work just fine with VPN and my command window.

I love this company but I'm looking elsewhere.
