Smart people, but a bit closed-minded to new ideas
Great office setup, good benefits, and work with lots of very smart people.
There is a lot of pressure to "conform" to their way of thinking as far as social issues.
When there is an event that is in support of a "cause", it was expected that we participate (e.g., Pride parade, 5K walks). These all came from the very top.
It's almost like a family; it would not be good to step out of line. Just smile and go with it, because the money and benefits are worth it.
