Process
I applied online and was contacted within a month for an initial phone screen.
I stumbled a bit during the interview, but I got the answer in the end and was able to explain myself. As a result, I had to do another interview, which went extremely well.
Meanwhile, I received an offer from another company that was expiring in a week.
I didn't hear back from Gusto for a while, so I emailed to get an update and was rejected.
I didn't get any feedback. I really liked the company and wanted to interview with them, and the fact that I was rejected immediately after informing them of a competing offer left a bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise, the entire process was great with very responsive and nice recruiters and engineers.

LeetCode easy/medium difficulty.
Difficulty is not algorithmic, but rather general software engineering ability.
