Overall, I enjoyed my experience at HackerRank. You are surrounded by some really smart people who are passionate about working there. The work was interesting and I felt like the work-life balance was really great overall. Of course, there are times with tight deadlines, but it never felt overly competitive or like a dog-eat-dog type of environment that you hear about other companies being.
Unfortunately, I was included in a round of layoffs, but I don't have anything negative to say. I wish it worked out, but stuff happens.
