Pros: They strive to create good processes, but unfortunately, they still have more cons. The young CEO and founders suck, and they are very rude!

Cons: While it was obvious that they had a revenue shortage, they still over-hired to market their growth and only to fire people. They abruptly ended the employment of many folks without prior notice, hints, or warnings. The worst part was that every employee was terminated with a poor performance reason and the worst severance before they could even vest their stocks. This company doesn't even have a chance to go public, and even if it does, those stocks won't be worth anything because the company is going south. Forget money, forget terminations. It’s shameful that the managers terminated their direct reports with a poor performance reason. The funny part is, they know to themselves that they’ve never had issues with their performance; they appreciated them in the past in front of everyone. They never properly gave them feedback about their so-called worst performance. Disappointing to have such managers; I'm pretty sure these managers will lead the rest of their careers holding this guilt. A lifetime lesson to not join a company like Handshake in the future.

Pros: Flexible, Accommodating, Teamwork, Good pay

Cons: There can be pressure, and it is cutthroat

Pros: The work can be exciting if you like to dissect complicated problems in your field of expertise. Work as many hours, from anywhere, at any time you want. Good entry into the field of data annotation for AI training. The pay can be very high if you work quickly.

Cons: The amount of time you get paid for each task is capped. Therefore, the pay per hour may not be accurate depending on the role you are assigned. Reviewer roles tend to be paid more consistently than fellows due to unrealistic time caps. Also, there are many unpaid components of the job, despite being pretty essential. For example, checking for changes in project requirements (expect very frequent changes) or attending office hours for help.
