Handshake stands behind its values and encourages all employees to exemplify them. I appreciate that everyone is expected to learn and grow regardless of their role and is given the opportunity to expand into other roles. Managers are supportive and work hours are flexible.
In general, no complaints, except for there being too many (zoom) meetings.
The remote interview process at Handshake consisted of three interviews with three Handshake employees. Additionally, I coordinated with other employees over email regarding interview times and content. Everyone I talked to on Zoom was very nice and
Recruiters were quick to reach out and update after each round, and everyone was very nice. I love the fact that they were very transparent from the jump about what the role was going to look like.
4 rounds. 1 phone screening, 1 technical screening, 1 peer coding session, 1 behavioral with management. All rounds were fairly easy besides the peer coding session, which was 2.5 hours long with 2 engineers from the company. Passed all rounds exce
