Handshake stands behind its values and encourages all employees to exemplify them. I appreciate that everyone is expected to learn and grow, regardless of their role, and is given the opportunity to expand into other roles. Managers are supportive, and work hours are flexible.
In general, no complaints, except for there being too many (Zoom) meetings.

Software Engineer Intern
The remote interview process at Handshake consisted of three interviews with three Handshake employees. Additionally, I coordinated with other employees over email regarding interview times and content. Everyone I talked to on Zoom was very nice and

Two interviews. The first one was a simple sorting question. The second one was onsite with the team manager. The staff was very nice. The people looked very happy there. It seems like a great place to work.

Code challenge interview. Met with a current dev and did a code challenge via a screen share. She had me talk out loud throughout to explain my thought process. The challenge wasn't too bad, but I had moments where I blanked.
