Process

Applied through job board; lengthy process.

Python is taking over the world.

Interview was fine. The interviewer was very skilled and explained everything again and again. I passed two rounds initially: a coding assessment from CodeSignal and a screen round. Now I am in the Hiring Manager round, where he asked Java basics (since I knew Java) and DevOps and cloud infrastructure questions. The Java question was to identify a substring from a given string, but he wanted it with time complexity in mind. This meant he asked me to write multiple approaches and select one with lower execution time. He was looking for Python, but I was from a Java background. Overall, a pretty good experience, as I am from a Tier 3 college and a Tier 3 company employee.
