After a couple of cursory phone/meeting interviews, I was given a take-home project and access to a Slack channel where I was meant to "collaborate" with the team as I completed the project. However, the project was fairly straightforward and didn't seem to require much natural opportunity or need for collaboration.

What makes for good collaboration?
