I attended the technical interview directly, without a written exam. HPE offered a chance to VIT consortium colleges whose students have maintained a CGPA above 8.0 throughout their academics from 10th standard onwards. The company tested our patience. For me, the technical interview completed at 9:20 PM, and I cleared that round. They informed me to attend the next morning for the HR round. The questions asked in the technical round were purely basics related to electronics, microprocessors, and C programming. I had cleared the HR round, despite nervousness.

1. Define microprocessor.
2. Difference between microprocessor and microcontroller.
3. Define flip-flop.
4. Define inverter.
5. Name any 3 home appliances which run with D.C. power supply, etc.
