When first starting with HPE, it had a portfolio that serviced the needs of its customers and delivered (some) outcomes rather than focusing on products.
Trying to transform and have senior/middle leaders that have been with the company 20+ years and have not had the experiences/skills to deliver what they are trying to achieve. Cutting costs to the bone, without understanding what value they are getting rid of. Too reliant on management consultants. Whilst trying to maintain a focus on the customer, they really struggle to understand the outcomes required by the customer and revert to product-focused sales.
Get some people in who have gone through transformations they are trying to achieve.
Understand the value of your people when making cost-cutting decisions.
Act like the global company you are supposed to be.
Standard behavioral interview. The hiring manager and I did a code review of a previously submitted code snippet. It was very relaxed, and they only talked to engineers, as opposed to some companies that use hiring staff who aren't very knowledgeable
Awful. The manager is disrespectful, and the team members seem to be scared of him. Very few questions are asked; they do not want engineers but coders. Got an offer but decided to turn it down. Their salary is half of other benefits you could get i
Good. The interviewers were very frank and made me feel very relaxed, as I was a fresher. The group discussion round was not very good for me, and I got rejected. Overall, a good experience.
