They show that they have good culture, but in actual, they are a bunch of insecure people who don't have good skills and are incompetent to change jobs in the current market. So, they are lying at HPE, doing politics and favoritism. Since they are highly incompetent to get jobs in the current market, they will try to show everyone the same and expect their team members to work like slaves.
Manager expects you to work long hours.
Lot of people who have been in HPE for a long time feel insecure about their jobs. Hence, they do a lot of politics. They will also work long, long hours and force their teammates to do the same.
Almost no hike during appraisal.
No internal job change opportunity. Even if it is there, your current manager will kill it so you remain their slave.
Negligible hike during appraisal. There is a huge salary gap between current employees and new hires for the same job level.
Why can't you give a hike with a promotion? There is a huge gap in salary between current employees and new hires at the same job level. Also, clean up your old employee population who are incompetent and do nothing apart from politics, or are working like slaves.

Two technical rounds. The first round involved coding in the C programming language, and the second round, on the same day, covered OS and data structure concepts. After that, I received an email stating that I was not opted for further rounds.
