Great, talented people to work with, and it has decent but not exceptional benefits.
Competitive pay and good work/life balance.
HPE is good at providing the hardware needed to do the work.
HPE is a hire & fire company, so don't expect a long-term career here. Upper management's focus is on the short-term stock price only. Layoffs are frequent, and management's vision for the future is still very unclear. There is lots of lip service but little action, and they change their minds frequently. Many good people are jumping ship because of the frequent layoffs and uncertainty caused by management's pinball decision-making.
Stop being reactive and focusing so much on short-term profitability.
Give the analysts a vision they can get excited about and make an effort to retain your people so you can execute that vision.
The stock price will take care of itself when you're doing the right thing.
