Most of the team is directly managed from the USA, and these managers are not from a technical background. These managers often overlook the hard-working and talented people in a team for a promotion or recognition. Instead, they choose people who are ready to abide by their words.
These managers create a filter layer, restricting team members from communicating with other dependent teams by imposing various rules and regulations. They often discourage any feedback from developers for a feature that originated from USA-based architecture.
There is no encouragement for tech improvement or going the extra mile. Rather, they prefer to do the job with whatever legacy tools are available and with minimum changes. Suggestions for changes are not welcome; instead, they are seen as an impedance to development work, and the person would be highlighted as negative in the team.
Please clean up the managers having non-technical backgrounds.
