Interesting and challenging work. Flexible hours for the most part. Put in the hours to get the job done.
Too many meetings for leads.
The rewards and bonuses are small.
Too many projects rewrite what has been written and don't leverage the prior tested code.
Too many nights and weekends. Several times I have been disappointed to not find someone working on a Sunday night. This type of hours is not consistent with all groups.
Every year there seems to be more layoffs. It puts people on edge to keep their resume up to date and looking around.
Limit meetings for tech leads. Reward to retain.
