HPE is still big and different, and my feedback is about the telecom department. Here, we still have the old HP culture, which it used to be 20 years ago. It is all about trust and respect. If you want to work, HPE will give you the right atmosphere to work in.
Ten years ago, Steve Jobs, who had a chance to work for HP earlier, said, "Hewlett and Packard built a great company, and they thought they left it in good hands," Jobs told Apple staffers on his final visit to the company. "But now it's being dismembered and destroyed. It's tragic."
This is even more so the truth now. Subjectively, the company is too heavy and slow, and does not have products or initiatives to break through the market. That's why the company does not attract talent enough, and it is becoming an infinite loop to stay heavy and slow.
HP recruiter responses one week after I had applied to Solution Architect position in the telecom sector and agreed to a 30-minute interview for the next day over a Skype/Lync bridge. I was on time, but nobody else appeared on the bridge. I sent an e
Phone interview and then team interview. This consisted mainly of background and experience. I described my previous role on a day-to-day basis and gave examples of value add I provided to company and client solutions.
I applied online. After a week, I got a phone call for scheduling an interview. The interview took place at the HPE Istanbul office. The interview was in Turkish and English. It took approximately 45 minutes.
