Great culture of cooperation and flexible work schedule. Solid, experienced workforce. Great product portfolio and diversity of technologies to work with. Senior management is making strong progress turning the company around and revitalizing some of the aging product offerings.
Cost reductions and layoffs are keeping salaries low, and employee morale suffers. HPE consists of many acquired companies with varying locations and thought processes, and there are very obviously some difficulties and growing pains in melding the software and hardware and program management philosophies of the various different groups into a cohesive whole. It seems much of the very experienced personnel have either been part of the various workforce reduction and early retirement efforts or have left for greener pastures where they are more generously compensated.
Keep on truckin'.
Very informal and fast. First, I did a phone interview and then had an onsite interview with several of the team members that I would wind up working for. This included questions on fitting into the culture and also general programming skills.
30-minute interview with the first 15 minutes dedicated to questions about content on my CV, along with technical questions to back up any claims. The second half is dedicated to a coding question.
There are three rounds: * Online exam * Technical round * HR + MR The interview process was easy. If you clear the initial round, you're 70% in. Technical, Managerial, and HR rounds aren't long; you need to be confident about what you speak.
