I applied online. The process took 2 weeks.

Really bad recruiting team and process. I had applied to a position for an Engineering manager role and had the date and time scheduled to speak to the HM. It was then rescheduled a week later due to the HM being busy with a work-related trip.

During the end of the week, I then get an auto-generated message saying the position has been filled and all future interviews have been cancelled. What is strange is my interview is still on the calendar with the HM.

I then email the recruiter and recruiting coordinator and ask for clarification—they do not respond at all. When the interview does come up, I join the call and the HM and myself have a great conversation, and he says towards the end that they made an offer to a candidate, but they have not accepted, so the role is technically open.

Later, I send another email to the recruiter and recruiting coordinator to see if the role is still valid and I am interested, and they again completely ignore me. Quite unprofessional and disorganized.
