The technical interview was complicated rather than just difficult. Instead of asking questions directly, the interviewer made them hard to understand. On the other hand, I'm not sure if these guys are really looking for testers because it seemed from the conversations that they want some kind of superhuman who can do everything. Moreover, the test lead responded with condescending chuckles under his mustache whenever some questions were answered incompletely or incorrectly.
I don't know if that's some kind of cultural tradition because I've encountered similar reactions before. My point here is not to talk about how difficult the technical interview was, but rather about basic human behavior.
