I interviewed with HSBC for the role of a senior developer on the Treasure Analytics Development team (based in London).

After an initial phone screening, I attended an in-person interview.

The interview process was well-structured, and the team demonstrated a keen focus on technical expertise and problem-solving skills. Questions were designed to assess practical applications of parsing/ingestion. Most time was spent on various query mechanisms (SQL, Jpath, xpath, LINQ), which makes sense because, you know... analytics!

We also talked about some basic statistics concepts. I struggled with some of those; it has been a while.
