Good benefits, ability to WFH, nice office, good location.
Great social and charity committee who always get the office and their families involved.
Christmas party at the Balmoral every year is a nice occasion to get dressed up.
Too many friendships between senior managers mean people get promoted who don't deserve it. Poor team managers offer no support or advice for progression. If you are GCB 6, 7, or 8, expect to be treated like you are at the bottom of the pile. Poor communication about internal changes; everything is kept very hush-hush and not passed down through management... (starting to see a theme here!)
Look after the people at the bottom who are actually doing the BAU tasks. Too much talent is lost because of poor management.
It was an easy process, but it offered a very low salary. They do not disclose salary until the final interview, which is a red flag. They did not really test my skills, which they should have ideally.
They took a couple of months to reply. After they did, I had a series of interviews, some online and some in person. I also completed a cognitive reasoning test as well as a character test. The interviewer was in his mid-30s and was straightforward
They call you first and ask for your interview availability. There was also a psychometric test after that. There were two rounds of interviews. They call you after the second round of interviews.
