At the beginning, the process seemed straightforward enough. After the initial call, I received a link to the take-home coding task, which takes around 3 hours to complete. The task itself is a glorified LeetCode-style challenge with a little more context.

On top of that, HubSpot uses a timer on their platform, meaning you can't take a break.

I didn't hear back from them until two weeks after submitting the solution. They sent me a generic rejection email.

I definitely expected more feedback after spending so much time on it, and it made me reevaluate my attitude towards take-home tasks once again.
