Process
One of the smoothest and fastest hiring processes I have been through. The whole process, from phone screening to group panel, was very enjoyable.
It started with a call with an HR person, then went through an online coding challenge before an in-person, five-hour interview.

The company has gone downhill since the layoff in 2023
Software Engineer • Current Employee
Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Pros: It used to be a good company until the layoff.
Cons: In 2022, they said they were not going to lay off anybody. The finances looked good. Then they laid off 7% of their workforce in 2023.
2024 arrived, and the company morale was at its lowest. They said, "There won't be another layoff." Then they laid off a bunch of UX Designers, and Katie Burke and a bunch of HR people around her left. I bet the company told her to leave, or something happened.

Friendly place to work, but expect to work hard
Software Engineer • Current Employee
Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States
October 27, 2020
Pros: Everyone is very nice and open.
The work environment is very collaborative, and the people are great.
The work is also very fulfilling.
I love my job!
Cons: It feels like there’s an unspoken pressure to be constantly working late and sometimes skip lunch. This could just be because I have only ever been a remote employee, though, due to Covid, and will not be going in person for a while.

Wouldn’t recommend for women/minorities
Software Engineer • Former Employee
Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States
March 26, 2020
Pros: Flexible work environment, interesting technical challenges, and great mentorship opportunities.
Cons: Needs a lot more diversity, inclusion, and belonging work.
Lacks transparency in compensation and pays way below the market rate.
Small 401K match.
Undervalues employees.
