Process

Week 1: Monday I received a request to schedule a phone screen. The phone screen was brief and introductory, where I was asked technical questions, about my background, and was given an overview of HubSpot and the specific project. On the same day, HR sent a follow-up to schedule an on-site interview.

Week 3: Monday - On-site Interview The on-site interview took place. HR showed me around the office space initially and then conducted four rounds of interviews. There were a few design questions and a sorting problem with whiteboarding. The interviewers were cool and friendly, which imposed no stress during the process. Each round started with a brief introduction of both sides, which gave enough time to get comfortable with the people. Lastly, I had a brief conclusive talk with HR, and she mentioned they'd have feedback available by the end of the week.

Week 3, 4: I sent a follow-up email to HR, but there was no reply. I tried calling HR but received no reply to my voicemail. I sent another, last email, with no reply to date.

Probably they had decided not to hire me even before the interview was scheduled but never showed the courtesy to let the candidate know.
