I received a CodeSignal assessment as the first step of the recruitment process. The recruiter asked me to complete the test within one week, but mentioned it could be done within two weeks if more time was needed. I did not move forward after submitting a score of 840+, so there may have been further resume screening after the assessment.

The first two questions are basic programming tasks designed to check foundational knowledge.

The third question is often a simulation or design question that is implementation-intensive (requiring a lot of code).

The last question is typically algorithmically hard but not implementation-intensive.
