Pros: + Amazing salary, perks, parties, and team lunches in Michelin restaurants.
+ Stands with you even in difficult times, ensuring you can perform at your best.
+ Work-life balance is great. There's never been pressure to work overtime; working hours are about 8:45 AM - 5:45 PM.
+ Some C++/performance gurus work there.
+ Loyal and best performers are given opportunities to quickly grow within the company.
Cons: It's HFT, options market making, so the company makes loads of money when there's a crisis in the world. They fund charities to compensate.
Remote IDE/coding setup could be improved.
Some daily tasks are not so fascinating.
C++ and Java, so not very exotic technologies are used.

Pros: - Working within an extraordinary environment, with great people and a futuristic building.
- Easy access to anyone who can help if you get stuck.
- Team building events are quite numerous and ease the integration of new people.
- A lot of responsibilities and autonomy, even for an intern.
Cons: I am still searching for them...

Pros: - Fun, friendly, and collaborative atmosphere.
- Very smart colleagues.
- Challenging problems to solve.
- Excellent remuneration and other perks.
- No structural overtime, crunch, or other unhealthy work ethic.
Cons: - Flat organizational structure leaves less room to grow in title/role (though remuneration will grow with experience).
