The interview began late. I showed up on time, and the people at reception could not find the responsible interviewers. Ten minutes after the agreed time, the interviewer showed. There were supposed to be two people (one from HR and another from the responsible area), but in the end, only one was there. When the interviewer described the position to me, there were many details that were not shown in the ad, with the position being more about someone who collected the requirements than someone who developed the technology. (TIP: Before going to the interview, make sure it is clear what the position is really about).
I did not find in the interviewer the slightest hint of enthusiasm, and I felt continuous hints that either she was not interested in me or she had another person already in mind for the job. Of course, the interview also showed a lot of lack of preparation on my side.
Nothing out of the ordinary: Tell me what I should hire you, what are your weaknesses, etc.
The only questions that I found interesting were: What is the easiest way to make you angry, what is good software for you, and what do you find good and bad about German culture?
